Macramé came into my life during a difficult chapter, as I was slowly finding my way out of postnatal depression, (something I kept quite close to my chest at the time) - I needed something that was just for me - something I could sit down with, focus on & lose myself for a little while

What started as a hobby quickly became something I genuinely loved. There was something so calming & regulating about the process of working with my hands, it gave me a sense of peace, when I really needed it

Before long, I was making pieces for family & friends. I loved creating something that meant something to someone else

Why I create

I decided to turn my love for creating into something I could share with other people because I knew how much a beautiful, meaningful object can bring to your space - & to you

I’ve always loved crystals & dried flowers, so combining them with the macramé just made sense

I wanted my pieces to be more than just something pretty hanging on your wall. I want them to feel personal. Something that brings a little calm, beauty & happiness into your home. Something you can look at & feel connected to

Every piece is handcrafted with care, just as this journey began, what started off as something that helped me heal, has become something I can share with others

I put a little bit of myself into every piece I make, macramé gave me something when I really needed it, now I get to take something that helped me & turn it into something meaningful, intentional & beautiful for someone else
